💌 two phones, two time zones

Game apps for long-distance couples (2026), compared

Short answer
For games: Duelo (18 two-player games, 9 work across time zones, iPhone and Android), LoveYug (small couples games), Couplescade (browser games) or a co-op story like The Past Within or Tick Tock. For daily questions rather than games: Paired. Check your phones first: Duetto is iPhone only, and Until is Android only for now.

The apps, side by side

A long-distance couple needs two things: something for the days you cannot talk, and something for the call. This table mixes games and couples apps, so the “How two people play” column matters.

We make Duelo, so we list it first. Every other row is a real app we checked on 28 October 2026, and each one gets the thing it does best.

How we checked

On 28 October 2026we read each app’s App Store and Google Play listing and its own website. “Ads: Yes” means Google Play labels the app “Contains ads” or the developer says so. “Not stated” means we could not find the fact from the developer, so we did not guess. Prices are US prices and can change. If a row is wrong, email support@keedastudios.com and we fix it.

Duelo, in plain facts

  • iPhone and Android, and the two play each other: an iPhone player and an Android player share one board.
  • 18 games in one app: word games, board games, trivia, a drawing game, party games and a co-op game.
  • 9 of them work when the other person is asleep: you play, they answer whenever they next open the app.
  • PIVOT! is co-op: one end of the sofa each, both of you on the same side.
  • On iPhone, 16 of the games also play inside iMessage.
  • No strangers, no bots, no matchmaking queue. Every opponent is a person you invited.
  • Six games free, no ads, no subscription. One payment unlocks the rest; it cannot buy a win.
  • A permanent head-to-head record per friend, per game. It never resets.
  • Made by a one-person studio in London. Last updated October 2026.
